Your Opportunity

Queensland Rail are currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Signalling team on a fixed term contract until the 31st of January 2027. This will be working out of our depots at Corinda & Brisbane Airport. The Administration Officer provides a high level of complex administrative support services to facilitate the effective operation and function of the work area. Administrative tasks may be non-routine in nature, to be carried out with limited guidance.  

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Data Entry
• Purchasing and accounts payable activities.
• Training Record Data Entry & Compliance reporting
• Meeting coordination and correspondence preparation.
• Fatigue Management Reporting
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure the team operate effectively and efficiently.

What you will bring to the role:

• High level knowledge of MS office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Have attention to detail and be solutions focused.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP Experience desirable
