We are looking for a proactive and experienced Administration Officer to complement our Traction Business Support team at Sunshine Depot (Geebung) on a permanent fulltime basis. With a team spread out across SEQ you will be encouraged to quickly develop effective relationships with department leaders and team members alike to deliver and maintain a professional service to our business.

Your Opportunity
As an Administration Officer in our team, your attention to detail and high level in organisational and time management skills will be essential in providing a wide range of complex administrative support services to facilitate the effective operation and function of the Traction Power team.
In this role, you will:
- Manage team requirements including SAP input for payroll and/or finance; payment of invoices; project support; training compliance and fatigue management compliance.
- Providing payroll reporting and administration function to management as required.
- Assisting in the Fatigue Management of employees in line with the ONRSR requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the team for procurement ordering as required, including diary management and schedules
- Contribute as a team member towards achieving best practice in the smooth, efficient and responsive delivery of all administrative support functions, document management and projects.
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure a productive and harmonious teamwork environment.
This Role Will Be Ideal for People Who
- High level of skill processing payroll and providing administrative services and support to a large complex workforce.
- High level of organisational skills, with a high-level planning, time management and decision-making skills.
- High level of skill in the use of contemporary office software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
- High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Skills in working in a team environment and with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours.
- SAP experience would be highly desirable, but not mandatory
