Your Opportunity
Queensland Rail is seeking a motivated Asset Planner to join our Asset Maintenance team in Brisbane.
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of integrated asset planning across Network SEQ—ensuring works are effectively planned, coordinated, and captured through a multi-disciplinary approach.
You’ll play a key role in strengthening planning performance by maintaining the Integrated Works Plan, supporting the ongoing development and use of EAMS, and analysing data to provide insights that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage systems and processes to support effective planning, reporting, and accuracy of the Integrated Works Plan (IWP).
- Coordinate and integrate detailed plans and scopes of work across Network SEQ to develop and maintain the IWP.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to balance access across operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Lead and participate in planning forums to optimise track access and resolve coordination issues.
- Oversee data integrity within work tracking systems, ensuring accuracy of all inputs and outputs.
- Facilitate regular planning meetings to review progress, align upcoming works, and resolve issues.
- Drive continuous improvement of EAMS processes and support users through coaching and guidance.
- Contribute to a high-performance, safety-focused culture that delivers strong outcomes for Queensland Rail.
About you:
- Strong experience developing work programs, including defining scope, resources, materials, and performance targets.
- Proven ability to monitor performance against programs and KPIs, and implement actions to achieve targets.
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and project management tools, with the ability to interpret and manage large data sets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
