Your opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of small-scale information technology projects (up to $150K) and provide assurance services for larger, externally managed initiatives. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards – while engaging with stakeholders across the business and external service providers.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and manage project schedules, cost plans and cashflows aligned with approved scope and budget.
- Determine resource requirements and engage in sourcing activities to select and commission service providers.
- Draft and review procurement documents, including commercials for approval.
- Coordinate and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication of project dependencies and priorities.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and budget using appropriate project management methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating unresolved challenges to senior stakeholders.
- Provide transparent and regular project updates, managing stakeholder expectations and reporting on variations.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position based in Brisbane CBD, concluding on 6th February 2026. The role offers a pro rata starting salary of $117,750 plus 12.75% superannuation, along with hybrid work options to support a healthy work-life balance.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive knowledge in developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules, cost plans, and cashflows.
- High level of skill in building and maintaining relationships and managing project priorities.
- Strong communication skills for presenting project updates and managing stakeholders’ expectations.
- Experience in supporting sourcing processes and managing contractual relationships with service providers.
- Knowledge in identifying, tracking, and managing risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
