We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Delivery Manager (Stations Lead) to join our Major Projects team supporting one of Queensland’s most significant infrastructure programs.
About the project

The Wave is a major transport initiative set to transform connectivity from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. Delivering new heavy rail from Beerwah to Birtinya and an express metro-style service through Maroochydore to the Sunshine Coast Airport, this project will reduce travel times, ease congestion, and improve regional connections, leaving a lasting legacy for the 2032 Olympic Games and beyond. With a focus on safety, innovation, cutting-edge design and rapid delivery,The Wave isn’t just building tracks, it’s building a brighter future for connecting communities.

Purpose That Counts - some of your responsibilities will include:
As the Delivery Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of station upgrade projects, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial outcomes. This role requires strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strong governance to manage complex, multi-disciplinary interfaces. You will also;
- Lead the delivery of station upgrades through program and project teams, achieving safety, time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and alignment across program strategy, delivery approach, and resource allocation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and interfaces, including internal teams, delivery partners, and government agencies.
- Develop and implement program plans, monitor progress, and report on outcomes to meet diverse business and client needs.
- Ensure governance, principles, and business rules are embedded and followed across all project activities.
- Oversee resource strategy and capability requirements to support program delivery.
- Drive assurance processes aligned to key business and project risks.
People Who Count – What you will bring
- Extensive experience in program and project management within complex operating environments, including risk and assurance management.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills to engage stakeholders and negotiate on complex issues.
- Proven ability to make strategic decisions on program delivery, performance monitoring, and governance.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant policy and legislation impacting program and project delivery in rail or similar industries.
