Your Opportunity
Join Queensland Rail’s Strategy & Planning team and play a key role in shaping the future of asset data governance. This permanent, full-time position based in Brisbane offers the chance to influence enterprise systems and drive innovation in asset management.
As part of the Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) Management Team, you’ll ensure the integrity and reliability of asset data across our ALM systems, enabling smarter decisions and improved operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-disciplinary asset data autonomously within the ALM systems using advanced techniques.
- Identify asset data inconsistencies applying various methods for rectification.
- Provide professional end-to-end data asset management and communications with stakeholder across other business functions.
- Mentor and provide advice to other team members under the direction of senior team members.
- Assist the EAMS Team Leader - Asset Data Governance in the development, implementation, integration, and ongoing governance of ALM systems and their respective design philosophies within an integrated framework.
- Contribute to various asset data projects using advanced techniques as required.

About You:
- Demonstrated substantial knowledge of Asset Data Management requirements particularly within SAP system/Plant Maintenance module.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development of Winshuttle and / or Tableau / Power BI.
- Keen eye for detail with ability to look for and promptly pick up data anomalies and flags.
- Strong interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills that builds and sustains productive business relationships.
- Collaborate, mentor and guide Asset Systems team members as well as the wider business area stakeholders on the technical requirements for EAMS asset data governance.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Willingness for continual growth and knowledge, to ensure we have capability of future systems enhancements, future vision and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong technical skills within wide range of software packages.
