Your opportunity
The Enterprise Reporting team has a rewarding opportunity for an Enterprise Reporting Writer (AS5) to join their team. In this fast-paced role you will communicate key business activities, analyse organisational performance, develop insightful enterprise business information and prepare reports that measure the success of the Queensland Rail Vision and Strategic Objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing and developing key enterprise reporting for the Executive, Board and Government.
- Review and report on key business activities aligned to government and media communications.
- Prepare commentary and insights that accurately represents performance data and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and deliver insightful enterprise performance information that measures the success of the Queensland Rail vision and strategic objectives.
- Perform compliance, regulatory and contractual reporting, in accordance with the enterprise reporting governance framework.
- Review and analyse inputs, managing accuracy and consistency of data and information.
- Design and develop effective reporting solutions and regularly review processes to identify opportunities to improve business practices.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Excellent writing skills with a strong understanding of public relations and reporting requirements.
- Excellent presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to consolidate large volumes of information.
Desirable
- Critical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience in the design and development of reporting solutions, including high-level MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in generating visual reporting with Power BI would be an advantage.
Remuneration & Employment Type
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Brisbane CBD. The role offers a starting salary of $117,750 plus 12.75% superannuation, along with hybrid work options to support a healthy work-life balance.
