About the role
We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant (AS5) to provide top-notch support to the Group Executive Strategic Projects, Property & Portfolio (SPP).
You'll be the backbone of the office, managing the GE’s schedule, handling communications, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment, particularly within the SPP portfolio.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the Executive's Schedule: Coordinate appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, and more, ensuring the Executive's time is used effectively.
- Handle Communications: Screen calls and emails, draft correspondence, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Executive, ensuring timely and professional responses that reflect positively on the office.
- Provide Administrative Support: Prepare presentations, manage documents, and handle various administrative tasks to keep the office running efficiently, preferably in a paperless, electronic manner.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the organization and external partners, demonstrating a pleasant and approachable demeanour.
- Represent the Office: Act as a professional and positive ambassador for the GE and the team, both internally and externally.
- Support SPP: Demonstrate a genuine interest in the work of the Strategy & Transformation team and contribute to its success.
What you’ll bring:
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: You're a master of multitasking and prioritization, able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact professionally with people at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office: You're comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create high-quality documents and presentations.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: You understand the importance of handling sensitive information with the utmost care.
- Positive Attitude: You're a team player with a can-do attitude, always willing to go the extra mile.
- Relationship Building Skills: You have a knack for building rapport and establishing trust with others.
- Adaptability: You’re flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and needs.

Remuneration & Employment Type: This is a fixed-term, fulltime position (until 04.08.2025) based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $113,768 (pro-rata) plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
