Executive Personal Assistant

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Executive Personal Assistant to join our Travel and Tourism team to support the Executive General Manager for Travel and Tourism on a permanent full-time basis. 


This position will suit an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant who enjoys a high level of accountability within a fast-paced environment, who enjoys keeping on top of current issues and following up on matters where appropriate. You will be adaptable; enjoy change and you will have outstanding stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the wider team. 


The key responsibilities include:
•    Confidential management of inbox
•    Coordinate and allocate appointments, arrange conferences, screen visitors and telephone enquiries
•    Meeting minutes and preparing board reports
•    Assist with reporting
•    Co-ordinate the various aspects of administration support within the group including the purchasing of equipment and office supplies 
•    Liaise between the Minister's office, Queensland Rail Board, Executive Leadership team members, business leaders, Union officials, senior Government officials and members of the public to ensure the efficient operation of the office
•    Provide confidential clerical, secretarial and administrative support such as attending to financial matters and managing cabcharge account 
•    Maintain an awareness of Executive Leadership team issues, responsibilities, and priorities


To be successful you will possess:
•    Demonstrated experience supporting a Senior Manager as an Executive Personal Assistant or Personal Assistant 
•    A confident and personable demeanour
•    Exceptional time management and stakeholder engagement skills
•    Advanced computer literacy to compile documentation or reports (e.g., basic formulas and ability to pull spreadsheets) 


This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary of $96,090 + superannuation + free rail to and from work on duty days.
