About the role:

Our Corridor Maintenance Outer North team currently have a permanent vacancy for a Facilities Maintainer. Based out of Sunshine (Geebung), you will work as part of a team to conduct corridor vegetation control and grounds maintenance and various yards/ sidings maintenance throughout the network.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include:

· Be present for daily briefings including important safety information
· Use of a work tablets to review and complete work orders
· Complete mowing, whipper snipping and various other vegetation control management
· Travel between sites across South Brisbane

About you:

· Previous experience of conducting vegetation control including the use of whipper-snippers, mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment
· Ability to work autonomously
· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
· MR licence highly regarded
