We have a full-time fixed term Fault Coordinator position available. This opportunity is based in the Rail Management Centre (RMC) at Bowen Hills.

- Salary - $109,949 plus shift and penalty rates apply plus 12.75% Superannuation
- 6-week rotating roster of 12-hour shifts

- 24/7 operational role working with an experienced, supportive small tight knit team
- The network consists of an exciting and broad range of telecommunications technologies.
About the role:
Reporting to the Coordinator Telecommunications Operational Centres and working in a team of six, you will ensure reliability of the Telecommunications network by monitoring, maintenance, and fault coordination of Queensland Rails statewide Optic Fibre and Telecommunications network.
Importantly you will also co-ordinate the rectification of service outages and report on the performance of the network.
A period of on the job learning and mentoring will be developed for the successful applicant with a view to getting into the active shift roster at the earliest opportunity.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have the following:
- Knowledge of telecommunications networks and how they apply to rail operations
- Great communication skills and self-motivated
- Proactive approach to investigating faults
- Hold the following preemployment qualifications ACMA Open Cabler Registration, Trade Certificate in Telecommunications and Class C Drivers licence.
