About this role:


You will be working as part of the Digital & Information Group as an ICT Program Manager. You will be using your coordination and management skills to deliver multiple concurrent digital projects from inception through to completion. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills from executive to customer level. Having effective skills in these areas will be essential for this role.

 

This role is permanent, based in Brisbane CBD. Salaries are between $151k-162k + super.

 

You can expect some of your responsibilities to include: 

 

  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the business operations and strategic direction of one or more customer segments to assist/influence customer stakeholders scope and prioritise business improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and coordinate the program of active and pending projects for one or more customers so that each individual project is given the best chance of success
  • Manage delivery across the Digital portfolio through effective liaison with respective project managers to align customer priorities with project status, issues, risks and dependencies.
  • Establish and actively communicate and manage the relationship with program and project business owners within one or more customer segment to ensure business benefits are identified and realised.
  • Manage relationships within Digital & Information and third-party partners to promote optimum delivery outcomes.

 

What you can bring to the role:

 

  • High level of skill in program and project management within a large organisation, leading the delivery of enterprise technology initiatives and managing internal and external service providers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with high level of skill in negotiating and managing multi-million dollar vendor contracts for the provision of digital services to the organisation.
  • High level of people leadership skills with strong influencing, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with particular strengths in negotiating, influencing, facilitating and presenting information.
