About the Role
Queensland Rail is excited to offer the opportunity for an Integrated Possessions Coordinator to join the team on a full-time, 4-year fixed term contract. This role is part of the Wave Project and will initially be based in Brisbane, transitioning to Beerwah from April 2027.
This role will see you leading the authorisation process for third-party access to Queensland Rail property, while coordinating contractor corridor requests and optimising work schedules to ensure operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively. You will work in close partnership with project stakeholders to support the successful delivery of key outcomes

Purpose That Counts – Some of the responsibilities of the role:
- Provide expert leadership on corridor access as part of the Possessions Integration team, offering strategic advice on major project delivery and resolving complex access issues.
- Lead and coordinate possession planning, scheduling and management by analysing competing project dependencies and milestones, optimising outcomes across operations, project delivery and business priorities.
- Ensure all corridor access activities comply with governance frameworks, legislative requirements and SEQ Network standards, while maintaining alignment with broader program and project controls.
- Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners, including acting as an escalation point to resolve risks, balance access demands and support high‑performance, safety-focused delivery outcomes.

- Proven experience in program and project management within complex environments.
- Strong leadership Extensive knowledge of Queensland Rail’s SEQ network, including policies, standards and procedures for possessions planning and delivery.
- Advanced capability in scheduling and managing corridor access for major works, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complex challenges and deliver practical solutions.
- Proven experience performing a similar role within a comparable rail or infrastructure environment.
