Your Opportunity
Queensland Rail has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO Lead to join our Finance & Corporate Services team and drive one of our most significant transformation programs – the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program.
In this role, you will lead the ERP Program PMO to ensure consistent and effective delivery through best-practice processes, tools, and methodologies. You’ll provide strategic oversight, enable organisational learning, and identify opportunities for improvement across people, systems, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ERP Program PMO team and ensure frameworks, templates, and procedures remain fit-for-purpose and aligned with best practice.
- Manage PMO functions including scheduling, financials, risk, quality, dependencies, and resources.
- Oversee budget tracking, reporting, and variation management processes.
- Apply program and project management techniques to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across the ERP Program and business to support collaboration.
- Ensure effective program communications through meetings and presentations.
- Provide input into project estimation during business case development using lessons learned and best practice.
- Monitor methodologies and conduct audits to ensure compliance and successful delivery.
About you:
- Expertise in project management and best-practice methodologies, ideally with SAP transformation experience.
- Strong knowledge of PMO management under P3O/MSP frameworks, finance processes, risk standards, and SAP Activate.
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills in complex environments.
- Proven senior leadership capability, fostering a customer-focused, performance-driven culture.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with strong influencing and negotiation ability.
