You will lead a blended team of in‑house and partner resources, fostering capability, accountability, and a culture focused on delivering value.

You will guide the end‑to‑end performance of our SAP ecosystem—on‑premise and cloud—overseeing enhancements, resolving complex issues, and ensuring seamless communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Your leadership will influence enterprise‑wide outcomes and play a key role in our transition to S/4HANA.

Reporting to the Group Senior Manager ICT Operations and Service Management, you will shape the roadmap, uplift maturity, and ensure our SAP platforms remain robust, secure, and future‑ready.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic direction and resource planning for SAP services, building capability and developing your team.

  • Lead the performance and continuous improvement of the SAP ecosystem (ECC, BTP, SuccessFactors and more).

  • Partner with Solution and Technical Architects to steer the full lifecycle of SAP applications, including cloud releases.

  • Oversee budget planning, ensuring compliance with operational and capital requirements.

  • Shape and guide technical and architectural decisions as Queensland Rail transitions to S/4HANA
