QLD Rail are currently seeking and experienced Manager to oversee the Track Assets of our SEQ Operations. Our SEQ Operations team is committed to ensuring the safety and ongoing security of our customers, passengers, and the general community.
The Manager Track Assets role effectively coordinates the integrated planning of asset management activities within the area of responsibility by developing strategic and operational plans and effectively managing the planning, scheduling and auditing activities.

About the role:
-
Lead a team of planners and track inspectors to prioritise maintenance and asset renewal decisions.

Authorise major works requests to assure value for money and alignment with the asset strategy
-
Lead the forward works planning across each of our rail corridors.

Assist with developing corridor plans and maintenance strategies.

Build strong working relationships across the business including regular visits to SEQ work sites.
About you:
-
Previous experience in track maintenance/asset management is highly desirable.

Knowledge of CMMS is highly desirable (SAP/ELEIP)
-
Strong communication skills and proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the business.

Management background with a proven ability to lead and influence.
-
Engineering background is preferrable.
