Your opportunity

We’re looking for a Master Data Coordinator (AS5) to join our Purchasing and Support team on a 12-month fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and maintaining Queensland Rail’s materials and services catalogue within our SAP ERP environment.

As the Master Data Coordinator, you’ll administer and take ownership of all aspects of SAP ERP master data and workflow processes for the materials and services cataloguing capability on behalf of the organization, providing expert advice, assistance and support for purchasing and inventory. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver effective solutions aligned with cataloguing best practices and international standards.

This role is based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $117,500 plus 12.75% superannuation and 50/50 hybrid work arrangement, offering a great balance of autonomy and collaboration. You'll join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and delivering real impact across the business.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a team-oriented and technically skilled professional with deep experience in SAP materials management—particularly someone who understands the material master creation and cloning process inside out.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be someone who:

• Possesses extensive knowledge of materials and services cataloguing techniques and contemporary purchasing catalogue systems administration.
• Is skilled in maintaining master data for contemporary ERP systems and workflow process development, performs regular housekeeping tasks, develops and executes test scenarios and scripts to support the ongoing function of information system developments and enhancement.
• Brings strong attention to detail and hands-on expertise in material master data, cataloguing, SAP reporting, Governance and taxonomy.
• Has a collaborative mindset and is happy to pitch in beyond core responsibilities to support team goals.
• Is easy-going and adaptable, with the confidence to offer new ideas and solutions while respecting established processes.
• Enjoys continuous improvement and is motivated to investigate better ways of using systems and data to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Offers a fresh perspective yet understands how to work effectively within an existing team structure and business context.
