Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and enhancing employee experience? We have an exciting opportunity for a performance and development specialist to join our team as Senior Adviser – Strategic People Projects for an 18-month period.

 

In this role, you will lead the continuous improvement of our performance management program, QR Perform, delivered through SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our annual performance cycle runs seamlessly and help to strategically connect organisational goals to everyday objectives.

 

The QR Perform program is well established and supported by a range of existing resources. We are now looking to uplift our development goal library (and accompanying tools and resources) to continue enhancing the professional development experience for our people.

 

Our team is focused on continuous improvement and finding new and better ways to support team members across Queensland Rail. We work collaboratively, encourage creative problem-solving and are committed to making a positive difference.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and refresh of our development goal library and partner with internal teams to develop and deliver a suite of development tools and resources.
  • Lead and deliver performance review cycles, including planning, calibration, education, communication and rollout.
  • Lead the optimisation and support the administration of our performance management process (QR Perform) facilitated via SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Assist in driving alignment between organisational goals and individual objectives to drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Lead the development of engaging communication and education strategies to promote a cohesive and enticing performance program that delivers real benefits.
  • Create resources, guides, and development plans to support professional and career growth across our workforce.
  • Collaborate with a team committed to delivering positive, value-adding programs that uplift employee experience.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of performance management processes and their strategic impact.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage, educate and inspire employees.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver development resources and career planning tools.
  • A positive, driven individual who thrives on leading change for organisational improvement.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals module (or similar systems) is highly beneficial although this role will be supported by our People Digital Systems team.
