About the role – Purpose that counts
Our SEQ Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Plumber to join the team in our Corinda depot on Brisbane’s southside on a fulltime permanent basis.
As a plumber you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to our Facilities and Heritage assets (houses, depots, stations, equipment rooms).
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
• Undertake work activities and create notifications using EAMS applications for the continual maintenance of the Facilities asset to meet requirements
• Ensure that work carried out is in accordance with the National Plumbing and Drainage Code of Australia and all other statutory regulations
• Supervise our supporting work contractors, support other areas such as facilities trades in the delivery of multi trade works
• Proactively develop skills and knowledge required for the rail environment and associated with trade qualifications through on-the-job training courses
• Travel to different work locations working alone or as part of a team

Hours and Salary – Benefits that count
This opportunity works across a 9-day fortnight and will have overtime weekend work. Working the current roster, a Plumber earns between $95,000 - $110,000 + superannuation.

About you
• Trade Certified Plumber
• Current Driver’s licence
• Substantial knowledge of plumbing work in accordance with the National Construction Code and Queensland Plumbing Codes, regulations and acts
• Able to work semi-autonomously and within a team environment
