We are currently seeking a suitably experienced professional to join Queensland Rail in this new role initially until June 2027, with the possibility of extension. The role will see you providing expert support in managing contractual and commercial items relating to major rail infrastructure projects, ensuring commercial, contractual and regulatory compliance.

 

Purpose that Counts - Some of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Support commercial negotiations in the active management of legislative, contractual, governance and regulatory compliance
  • Co-ordinate manage and maintain relevant systems, processes and procedures
  • Undertake complex research requests/enquiries regarding, state and federal government enquiries
  • Draft briefings, reports, submissions, assessments and correspondence for the consideration of the Executive Leadership Team, and other stakeholders

 

 People Who Count - Who we are looking for:

 

  • High level of skill in contract negotiations
  • High level of skill in assessing Request for Information applications
  • High level of problem solving, analytical, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Strong experience in contracts admin
  • Exposure to rail or infrastructure projects highly regarded
