The Training Design and Development team is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to step into the role of Principal Instructional Design Adviser. If you have a strong experience in learning and development and thrive in leading innovative projects, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

As a Principal Instructional Design Adviser, you will lead the team in the design and development of innovative, flexible, and effective learning and development solutions. This role focuses on change leadership, project management, and instructional design expertise to support our business objectives and strategies.

 

You can expect some of the responsibilities of the role to include:

  • Lead a team of instructional designers in developing high-quality learning solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive change leadership by influencing the adoption of efficient learning practices and alternative learning solution designs (e.g., eLearning, blended learning, multimedia).
  • Stand up and manage multiple projects, ensuring quality outputs are delivered within agreed timeframes and scope.
  • Provide expert advice and input to stakeholders, fostering the development of flexible and efficient learning delivery practices.
  • Review and analyse instructional design concepts, supporting the development of detailed work schedules.
  • Plan and evaluate established learning solutions to ensure they meet business and legislative requirements.
  • Actively participate in specialist tasks and projects related to People, Safety, and Sustainability.

  • Has experience in designing, development and implementing a wide range of learning solutions.

 

Desired:

  • Has knowledge of best practices in adult and vocational learning principles, competency-based training frameworks, and VET Quality Framework (AQF).
