About this role:

 

Working within Queensland Rail’s SEQ Assets division as the Program Delivery Manager, you will be involved in ensuring the successful implementation of several of our transformation and improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in integrating readiness inputs so that the program delivers the improvement effects required to get us Olympics Ready.

 

 

This role is a permanent full-time position based in our Brisbane CBD office.

 

 

You can expect some of your responsibilities to include: 

 

  • Provide oversight and advice to leaders and project leads to enable transformation outcomes.
  • Lead the delivery and integration of designated SEQ Assets initiatives and projects, to deliver ongoing program outcomes across process, technology and governance
  • Identify opportunities to integrate equipment, techniques and training into SEQ Assets transformation towards best practice railway asset management
  • Establish and maintain program controls for allocated scope including schedule, resourcing, risks, issues, dependencies and quality.
  • Promote and support development of Queensland Rail's desired culture.

 

 

What you can bring to the role:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary practices for railway infrastructure maintenance, with proven ability to drive innovation and implementation to achieve measurable results.
  • High level of conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills supported by sound commercial acumen and experience managing multiple projects to deliver outcomes.
  • High level of skill to drive organisational change through a systematic and consultative approach with front line maintenance and technical staff.
  • High level of stakeholder management and negotiation skills that build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships
