Our SEQ Project Delivery team at Queensland Rail are integral part in providing exceptional customer-focused, safe, modern and world-class rail service. In the next 10-years there will be an estimated increase of passenger trips from 40 million per year to around 80 million journeys by the year 2032. On top of that, our investment in projects will ensure we provide a world class rail service well into the future.
Our section directly delivers in-house and externally funded Signalling projects which maintains and improve the Queensland Rail network.
Our section delivers approx. $40 Million dollars of works every year.
About the role:
As the Project Coordinator based in a Brisbane CBD office, you will provide support to Program and Project Managers in the coordination and delivery of our scheduled works.
You will be liaising with various managers, therefore, to be successful in this role, you will need to have good organisational skills, excellent communication and sound knowledge of various Microsoft products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain project governance documentation for Project and Program Control Groups including minutes, meeting schedules and acting as secretariat.
- Develop and maintain project definition, project scope, stakeholder plans and options analysis on behalf of Project and Program Managers.
- Develop and maintain project plans and associated project documentation as they align to the project templates.
- Develop and coordinate governance documentation and activities, and project reporting requirements on behalf of Project and Program Managers.
- Coordinate and facilitate Project Workshops including Risk, Safety in Design (SiD), Commissioning Readiness, Business Readiness workshops.

Hours:
This position is a Full time. The position will work core business hours Monday to Friday from our Brisbane CBD location but there may be some minimal alternate hours to support the live projects.
