Your Opportunity

 

As our Project Coordinator, you’ll step into a pivotal role driving excellence across Queensland Rail’s Accessible rail service function. You will provide support to the project leads and lead the coordination of project governance, stakeholder engagement support, project finance and schedule tracking, develop documentation such as committee and board papers, action registers, meeting minutes, support in the development and updating of accessibility compliance reporting and assurance activities. To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator and ensure robust processes and frameworks are established and maintained that support the successful delivery of accessibility projects, team function outcomes and deliver meaningful impact.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

 

  • Coordinating the development of accessibility compliance reports for SEQ & Regional networks generated from power BI- Coordinate with team leads to facilitate business-led procurement activities
  • Manage the Accessibility Report Card - track and update with completed project activity occurring across the business
  • Coordinating the development/drafting of Committee and Board reports
  • Provide a high level of project and program support to the unit as required, including but not limited to: word processing; powerpoint / indesign presentation preparation; spreadsheets; stakeholder engagement related task, including, scheduling, invitations, follow-ups, track project and program budgets

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Expertise in applying governance frameworks to major projects.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage sensitive matters independently.
  • Proven capability to identify and resolve governance-related issues.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies in complex environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
