About this role:

 

In this Project Director TMS Interface Delivery role, you will be working as part of the Major Projects division on the ETCS Program. You will be leading and accountable for the new Traffic Management System to be rolled out across the QR Network. This will span multiple projects and involve multiple key internal and external stakeholders.

 

This is a fixed-term role with an end date of 31 December, 2030.

 

Purpose That Counts – Some of the responsibilities of the role:

 

  • Participate as a member of Major Projects Office management team to provide expert advice on major train control projects and change management initiatives across Queensland Rail.
  • Serve as single point of accountability for the successful delivery of the approved train control projects being managed.
  • Work within the enterprise project management frameworks and governance arrangements appropriate for large scale operational projects.
  • Take an active role in the development of project delivery planning and obtain and provide program and project management capability.
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers and SME's, each with responsibility for a major TMS project, tracking progress against major milestones and providing organisational-level guidance.
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder relations at executive and senior management level.
