Your opportunity

 

We’re looking for a Senior Catalogue Adviser (AS5) to join our Purchasing and Support team on a 12-month fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and maintaining Queensland Rail’s materials and services catalogue within our SAP ERP environment.

 

As the Senior Catalogue Adviser, you’ll administer and maintain master data, support procurement operations, and lead enhancements that ensure data quality, security, and transparency. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver effective solutions aligned with cataloguing best practices and international standards.

 

This role is based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $117,500 plus 12.75% superannuation and 50/50 hybrid work arrangement, offering a great balance of autonomy and collaboration. You'll join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and delivering real impact across the business.

What We’re Looking For

 

We’re seeking a team-oriented and technically skilled professional with deep experience in SAP materials management—particularly someone who understands the material master creation and cloning process inside out.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll be someone who:

 

  • Brings strong attention to detail and hands-on expertise in material master data, cataloguing, SAP reporting, Governance and taxonomy.
  • Has a collaborative mindset and is happy to pitch in beyond core responsibilities to support team goals.

  • Enjoys continuous improvement and is motivated to investigate better ways of using systems and data to improve functionality and efficiency.
