Purpose That Counts - About this role:
Queensland Rail are excited to offer the opportunity for a full-time Senior Document Control Officer to join the Major Projects team.
This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement best practice Document Control processes and set the highest of standards. You will have to opportunity to make the role your own. This role will cover a variety of work supporting the business unit by maintaining effective project control functions, contract management and project planning.
In this role you will lead, oversee and provide document control services within Major Projects. Manage development, implementation and maintenance of industry best practice document management systems that ensure compliance with relevant Queensland Rail policies, standards and specifications.

• Have extensive knowledge of document management systems
• Senior Document Controller experience in the rail, transport or construction industry is desirable
• A willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to produce outcomes
• Be a team player and enjoy working as part of a support team
• Thriving through changes opportunities
What you can bring to the role:
- High level of skill in coordinating and managing a document management system
- Extensive knowledge of delivering document control and management services, with exposure to ProjectWise, TRIM or Team Binder preferred
- High level of skill in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders of all levels
- Ability to provide advice, guidance and leadership within a team environment
