About the role
Queensland Rail is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Document Control Officer to join the QTMP program. This role is critical for the day-to-day management and control of documents, ensuring that all documentation is accurately registered, distributed, and quality assured.

This is a 4-year fixed term position dedicated to the successful delivery of the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), based in Brisbane CBD.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include

  • Provide daily management and control of project documents.
  • Distribute documents to relevant workstream leads and ensure timely action.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all documents to consistently maintain high standards.
  • Maintain, develop and update document control processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the program management team with document-related tasks and inquiries.

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex project environment.
  • Proficiency in using document control systems such as InEight (preferable), Aconex, Asite or ProjectWise.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing and controlling documents
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
