About this role:


Working within Queensland Rail’s Major Projects team
this role will see you joining the team for the Logan and Gold Coast faster rail project where you will oversee the integration of track, structures, stations, and signalling systems on the northern end of the project.  In an ever growing are of the business now is a great time to join QLD rail and really make your mark!

 

Please note this is NOT an ICT delivery role. 

 

 

Purpose That Counts - some of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide leadership on key issues relating to the delivery of the project
  • Provide technical and professional guidance to design, planning and delivery teams
  • Manage the delivery of the project in accordance with allocated budgets, schedules and safety targets
  • Provide detailed reporting to key stakeholders against agreed deliverables
  • Work within the enterprise project management frameworks
  • Develop and implement engagement and communication strategies
  • Lead the integration of project requirements.

 

People Who Count – Who we are looking for:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of rail transport operations and associated legislation
  • High level of experience in providing leadership and strategic direction in a major infrastructure project
  • High level of skill in program management
  • High level of negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong time management and leadership skills
