Tomorrow That Counts - About this role:
Working within Queensland Rail’s Major Projects team, this role will see you joining the team for the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade (Stage 1) project. The role will see you responsible for strategic management, accountability, and leadership services for the execution and delivery of this exciting project. Purpose That Counts - Overview of Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide leadership on key issues relating to the delivery of the project
- Provide technical and professional guidance to design, planning and delivery teams
- Manage the delivery of the project in accordance with allocated budgets, schedules and safety targets whilst providing leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of the project achieves positive results
- Provide detailed reporting to key stakeholders against agreed deliverables
- Foster key internal and external stakeholder relationships and ensure clear ongoing communication and integration
- Work within the enterprise project management frameworks
- Develop and implement engagement and communication strategies and the integration of project requirements
People Who Count - What you can bring to the role:
- Extensive knowledge of rail transport operations and associated legislation
- High level of experience in providing leadership and strategic direction in a major infrastructure project
- High level of skill in program management
- High level of negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong time management and leadership skills
