We have an exciting opportunity to join the Corridor Access Management team, in the position of Senior Scheduling Officer on a fixed term contract until June 2026.
As a Senior Scheduling Officer, you will work closely with the Corridor Access Coordinators, proactively developing and prioritising work schedules and associated scope of works in project management suites delivering efficient site shut down plans for multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- The maintenance of an accurate database of forecast commissioning dates and key milestones of the program, generating performance reports on the effectiveness of the program and advising of any conflicts or issues.
- You will schedule, attend and facilitate planning and debriefing meetings (in office and on site) with planners, supervisors, coordinators, and other stakeholders in order to ensure efficient use of track closures.
- Regularly communicate and negotiate with multiple work teams who have competing requests in order to establish an efficient, prioritised schedule.
- On weekend closures you will fulfil the role of Shutdown Coordinator, liaising with field staff and monitoring slippage on programmed and ad-hoc deliverables.
- As you will be on-site engaging with key stakeholders it is important you demonstrate a collaborative approach and a strong commitment to safety.
- To be considered for this position you will have on site project coordination experience, scheduling/planning experience and hold a current C-class driver's license.
To thrive you will:
- Have outstanding communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have experience using Primavera P6 (or similar) for scheduling (ideal but not essential)
- Have meticulous eye for detail and a logical approach to planning and organising
- Be dedicated to pro-actively delivering ideas and plans which contribute to increased efficiency
This opportunity requires you to be available for weekend work and varying working hours to meet operational requirements.
