About this role:


Working within Queensland Rail’s MPI team, the Signalling Lead role will see you joining the signalling team for the European Train Control System project. You will be the interface between the alliance and Queensland Rail ensuring effective engineering capability and delivery of the project. This is a permanent opportunity to join Queensland rail on a major career defining project.

Purpose That Counts - Some responsibilities of the role:

 

  • Provide expert signal engineering services, including advice and recommendations
  • Ensure each project team demonstrates professional integrity and good business approach to deliver a product that Queensland Rail can successfully operate and maintain
  • Give guidance as an SME for signalling engineering works
  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Monitor and manage compliance of the team with a safety-first vision

 

People Who Count - What you can bring to the role:

 

  • High level of skill in design, construction, testing and commissioning of signalling infrastructure
  • Extensive skill in leading and developing a team of engineers and technical officers
  • Strong knowledge of meeting statutory, regulatory and policy obligations
  • High level of skill in the delivery of signal engineering solutions that deliver commercial value
  • Mandatory RPEQ registration and Bach of Electrical Engineering
