The Asset Training Delivery Team supports development of the design of our training programmes through their subject matter expertise and delivers these training programmes using several learning channels. Our audiences are Queensland rail employees who manage and support the train network in SEQ and Regional areas.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with your peers and with Business Leaders to deliver ASQA and Enterprise based training ensuring that learning outcomes are achieved.
  • Deliver training critical to building the capability of our people working with key systems, processes and tools used to deliver the management and operation of our rail network.
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders in a complex environment to assure legislative, enterprise and learning governance is met.
  • Planned and well managed travel will be required as we have depots all over SEQ and Regional Queensland.


What you will bring to the role:

  • Certificate IV in Rail Signalling.
  • Electrical Mechanic Licence.
  • Have, or willingness to obtain, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment within 12 months.
  • Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset to achieve successful learning outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills with the ability to develop relationships with a diverse stakeholder group in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in training and learning methodologies and tools, with a strong focus on learner achievement.
  • Experience in implementing academic quality assurance practices including assessment.
  • Experience in complex systems environments.
