Your opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Strategic People Partner to join our SEQ People team in Brisbane on a 12-month contract. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide strategic support and partnership to leaders and executives, shaping enterprise-wide HR strategies and delivering future-focused, data-driven solutions that drive workforce capability, culture and transformation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and executives to embed organisational capabilities, leadership behaviours, and cultural initiatives that drive transformation and innovation.
  • Act as a trusted adviser on complex people challenges and change initiatives, providing expert guidance to enhance organisational agility and resilience.
  • Collaborate across HR functions to co-create innovative, data-driven solutions aligned with strategic workforce priorities and business objectives.
  • Leverage workforce analytics and insights to inform strategic decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve people outcomes to ensure future capability needs are met.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in strategic HR leadership, influencing outcomes across all levels.
  • Skilled in complex change management, project delivery, and consultation.
  • Strong capability in strategic people risk management with a proactive safety focus.
  • Confident communicator with curiosity and critical thinking, able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ready to hit the ground running with availability from January 2026!

 

Remuneration

The starting base salary for this role is $151,000 (prorated) plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
