We are currently seeking a suitably experienced professional to join Queensland Rail in this critical role that will see you lead and direct the Systems and Technical Integration stream for the Cross River Rail Project , ensuring appropriate management techniques are applied to complex integration issues
Purpose that Counts - Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Participate as a member of the TSD leadership team to provide senior leadership of key issues relating to the Systems and Technical Integration
- Provide senior leadership and expert advice to delivery partners
- Manage Queensland Rails technical and assurance contribution into the Cross River Rail Lead Integrator
- Lead the implementation of governance systems to enable technical integration
- Lead and direct the management of engineering technical standards, design control and configuration guidelines associated with the Queensland Rail’s role withing the Cross River Rail Project.
People Who Count - Who we are looking for:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in System Integrations, Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance related to major projects
- High level of skill in Engineering, Integration, Project Management, Design and Change - Management
- Extensive knowledge and experience in planning, performing and managing safety integration tasks
- Substantial knowledge of working in a technical environment.
- High levels of skill in operational readiness activities
You will be confident in liaising and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior members of the leadership team. Your senior leadership experience will ensure you successfully lead a team of technical specialists ensuring customer service, stakeholder management and collaboration is maintained. You will also act as the key point of accountability for providing management of key engineering issues relating to the project portfolio.
