Queensland Rail’s Major Projects Integration team is currently seeking a Telecomms Operations System Lead to manage the telecommunications works program to of the Logan & Gold Coast Faster Rail Project. The role will see you provide a direct connection with SMEs and Asset Recipients for the Procurement/Design/Construction & Assurance activities involved with Tele & Op Sys installation across the project.
About the role:
- Manage the delivery of the telecommunications program of works, coordinating the delivery, safety, cost and quality outcomes
- Develop the telecommunications program of work, assess priorities and required resources to ensure deliverable milestones are met.
- Build and manage relationships with clients, customers, Project Managers and other stakeholders
- Develop, implement, monitor and report on the telecommunications program of works.
- Seek to implement new strategies or processes to improve the delivery of the telecommunications program more effectively and efficiently
What we are looking for:
- High level of skill in the delivery of a telecommunications program in a commercially performing business.
- High level of skill in leadership and management of effective teams in the delivery of telecommunications engineering works
- High level of leadership, people management, interpersonal, communication, planning, coordination and negotiation skills.
- High level of skill in program planning and managing of operational and capital budgets
- Substantial level of skill in the delivery of commercial outcomes through business improvements, technology development and innovation
