We're on the lookout for motivated individuals to join our Telecommunications Lines and Cables Team as Telecommunication Support Maintainers (internally know as Support Maintainer), based at our Sunshine depot.
This is your opportunity to bring your telecommunications skills to a hands-on role, working alongside experienced technicians to support the maintenance of critical network infrastructure. You'll be part of a team that keeps communication lines running smoothly across SEQ.

About the role
In this opportunity you will work in a semi-autonomous team, supporting our tradespeople in civil labouring duties, maintaining cable route, ducts and pathways, installation of cable and associated infrastructure. You are accountable for ensuring all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications and standards and report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program.
Roster and Benefits
- 9-day fortnight roster (76-hour fortnight)
- Starting base salary $72,000 plus+ 12.75% super, working on the current roster with overtime and penalties you can expect to earn up to $90,000
- Overtime available and generous travel allowance
What you’ll need
- Current C Class Driver Licence (Nat Drv Lic C)
- Previous hands-on civil labouring experience, including working with pits and pipes, NBAs, or telecommunications systems
- A willingness to travel regionally for work (approximately every few months)
- A proactive, safety-focused attitude and a strong team ethic
