About the team

This position sits within our Cairns Structures team based at Redlynch. They are part of our Northern Network Operations business responsible for managing the maintenance and reliability of our rail network, ensuring it is safe and reliable for the people of Queensland.

 

 About the role

As a Bridgeworker you will carrying out maintenance task on our structures such as the repair of steel, timber and concrete bridges including drainage work. You are responsible for ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and quality work standards are achieved.

 This position is always in the field therefore you must be happy to work in a variety of weather conditions.

 You need to be comfortable working from heights on a regular basis.

 About you

  • Current C class drivers licence
  • Labouring / TA experience
  • Safety focused attitude

 

 Salary and roster

  • The team work Monday to Friday with every second Friday off (3 day weekend)
  • Base salary$66,000 + penalties + 12.75% super
  • Working on current roster you can expect to earn over $75,000 plus super
