About the role:
Queensland Rail has a permanent position, based at the Cannon Hill Depot for a Rail Lubricant Attendant. The requirements of the role are to clean, service and maintain track lubricators, associated assets to deliver safe, cost effective and timely services.
We are looking for a team player who can also work independently and is not scared to get their hands dirty.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated previous experience with preventative maintenance on rail lubricant equipment
- Someone who has good problem solving, analytical and quality improvement ability
- Be able to work harmoniously in a team environment
- Previous experience working on machinery would be desirable
Two-week roster:
Week 1: Monday-Thursday, 6.30am-3.00pm; Friday-Sunday, Off
Week 2: Monday and Tuesday, 6.30am-3.00pm; Wednesday and Thursday Off; Friday 6.30am-3.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 6.00am-4.30pm
The successful applicant must be prepared to work some nightshifts as well as working away from home 5 days every 8 weeks. Overtime and penalty rates will apply.
