About the team
This role is based in Charters Towers and is part of the Structures team, which includes four dedicated Bridgeworkers who report through to the Team Leader. The team work together to cover the regions of northwestern Queensland on the Mount Isa line.
About the role
As a Bridgeworker you will carry out maintenance and repair work on our structures, including steel, timber, and concrete bridges, as well as some drainage systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe work practices are used and quality standards are met.
This position is always in the field so you must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be comfortable working from heights.

Salary and roster
- The team works 9 on 5 off, travelling Monday and returning the following Tuesday, giving you a 5 day weekend
- Potential annual salary of $100,000 including penalties and allowances + 12.75% super
About you
- Must have an unrestricted drivers licence
- Must have recent labouring / TA experience
- Must have the capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
- Must have a safety focused attitude
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Mobile plant tickets and experience advantageous
