Your opportunity
This position is based in Charters Towers and is part of our Track Refurbishment team, covering the North Western Queensland region along the Mount Isa line. As a Trackworker, you will carry out maintenance tasks, including the installation of new rails, sleepers, and track components, ensuring safe work practices and high-quality standards are maintained.
This position is always in the field so you must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and high temperatures.
Salary and roster
- The team works 9 on 5 off, travelling Monday and returning the following Tuesday, giving you a 5 day weekend
- Potential annual salary of $95,000 including penalties and allowances + 12.75% super
About you
- Must have an unrestricted drivers licence
- Must have recent labouring / TA experience
- Must have the capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
- Must have a safety focused attitude
- Mobile plant tickets and experience advantageous
