Purpose that Counts.
We are excited to offer a permanent full-time opportunity for a Trackworker to join our dedicated Track team based in Hughenden. This team is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the railway track around the Hughenden area and beyond.
As a Trackworker, you'll perform heavy manual labouring type tasks, such as replacing railway sleepers and a variety of other track maintenance activities.
This position is constantly in the field so you must be able to work in challenging weather conditions and high temperatures.
In this role you will:
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
- Carry out manual labour duties, including flood repairs and emergency work
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently

- the capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
- Recent experience in a manual handling or physical labouring type role
- strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team player attitude
- commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety at all times
- flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required
- C class licence as a minimum
