Purpose that counts. 

As a Bridgeworker (Structures/Civil Labourer) you will carry out maintenance and repair work on our structures, including steel, timber, and concrete bridges, as well as some drainage systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe work practices are used and quality standards are met. 

This position is always in the field so you must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be comfortable working from heights. 

This position sits within our Mareeba Structures team. They are part of our Northern Network Operations business responsible for managing the maintenance and reliability of our rail network, ensuring it is safe and reliable for the people of Queensland. 

 

Salary and roster

  • The team work predominately 8 day shifts away from home camped in accommodation Monday – Monday then have 6 days off.
  • Working on current roster you can expect to earn over $85,000 plus 12.75% super 

   

People who count. To be considered for this position you must: 

  • Hold a current c class drivers licence 

  • Have recent labouring / TA experience 

  • Have a safety focused attitude 

  • Be comfortable working from heights
