About this role:
This position supports the Asset Planning Coordinator in ensuring that Queensland’s rail assets are efficiently and effectively maintained and constructed to the required standards. You will be responsible for ensuring these assets are constructed to the highest standards by developing comprehensive plans and work programs. This includes conducting audits, inspections, and reviewing the progress of ongoing work. The role will be based in Maryborough.
About you:
• Are you someone who has excellent organisational skills? You will be multitasking across various priorities at any given time, so this skill is a must.
• Are you comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders, including negotiating deliverables and outcomes? The successful candidate will require strong and effective communication skills.
• Do you have experience delivering effective integrated operational and tactical asset management work plans?
You can anticipate some of your responsibilities, amongst others to include:
• Support the development of work practices that ensure the efficient delivery of maintenance and construction activities.
• Schedule and attend planning meetings to ensure effective use of track possessions and to resolve any co-ordination or interface issues with other areas.
• Prepare, monitor and continually improve maintenance plans
• Apply high quality data standards in collaboration to ensure accurate planning and data analysis
To be considered for this role you must have:
• Extensive knowledge of successful asset maintenance methodologies within multi-disciplinary, geographically disperse and Asset Intensive organisations.
• Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
• High level of knowledge in works management principles
• Strong experience within a multidiscipline environment
• High level of conceptual and analytical problem solving skills
