Electrical Fitter (City-Network Rollingstock))

We have an opportunity for a qualified an Electrical Fitter to join our City Network Rollingstock Maintenance team at Mayne Yard. This is a permanent full-time role.
You’ll be working hands on maintaining and overhauling our rollingstock fleet, helping keep trains safe, reliable, and ready for service.

About your role
As part of the Rollingstock Maintenance team, you will:
- Carry out electrical maintenance, repair and overhauls on rollingstock
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs and servicing on electrical systems
- Follow safe work practices, procedures, and maintenance standards
- Work closely with a team of technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
- Work as part of a skilled trades team in a depot environment
What You’ll Bring
- Current Qld Electrical Fitter/ Mechanic Licence
- Strong focus on safety
- Proven fault-finding experience on light and heavy mechanical equipment
Roster and Remuneration
Working in this team on the current roster an Electrical Fitter earns between $110,000 - $130,000 plus superannuation. This includes the allowances and penalty rates for weekend and afternoon/night shifts. Overtime is also available.
The roster will include morning, afternoon and weekend shifts. You must be available to meet these requirements to be considered for this role.
