Your Opportunity


Join Queensland Rail as a Senior Business Analyst and play a key role in shaping how we manage, maintain and optimise our network through major digital and asset management transformation.

In this role, you’ll influence enterprise-wide decisions, uplift data capability, and help embed smarter, more efficient ways of working across critical operational systems.

You’ll work at the centre of high-impact programs, translating complex data into actionable insights that improve planning, performance and long-term asset outcomes.

Be part of transformation that directly impacts how Queensland Rail operates:

  • Digital transformation of maintenance workflows (mobile-enabled platforms)
  • SAP/ERP uplift driving standardised, integrated business processes
  • Data and analytics improvement, including quality, standards and reporting
  • Continuous improvement initiatives across asset and operational systems

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Turn data into insights that inform strategic and operational decisions
  • Lead analysis across complex, multi-project transformation initiatives
  • Design and improve end-to-end business processes and system solutions
  • Influence and partner with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Drive data-driven improvements to systems, workflows and performance
  • Support operational readiness and change adoption across key programs


About you:

  • Strong experience in process mapping, including AS-IS/TO-BE models and SOPs 
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to solve complex problems and deliver value 
  • Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements and business rules
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of (or willingness to learn) Queensland Rail systems and processes
