About the team:

Our Infrastructure Renewals team are an integral part of managing the Maintenance / Track Construction and reliability of our SEQ & Regional rail network areas, ensuring the track is safe and reliable for the people of Queensland. 

As a Team Leader working from Brisbane Depot at Qantas Dr you will be working with our Civil Construction team, you will at times required to supervise a small team in day-to-day civil operations.

Daily overview:

• Collect work list and ensure all the correct equipment is in the truck or getting to site.
• Ensure the team are working safely and with the appropriate PPE.
• Ensure the team are working to the standard expected, you are held accountable for the quality of the completed works.
• Liaise with the Coordinator / Supervisor on how works are progressing and problem solve issues.

You will also need to:

• Work night shift as required
• Weekends
• On occasions Camp away from home 9 & 5 roster
• Attend training as directed
