About the team
You’ll be joining a tight-knit and supportive team reporting to the Coordinator of Trackside Systems. The team includes two experienced electricians and one apprentice, working collaboratively to maintain and service a significant stretch of our rail network primarily between Bundaberg and Gladstone. While this is your main area of operation, there may be occasions where you’ll support other parts of the network as business needs arise.
About you
As a Signal Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of signalling equipment across our network. Your work will include inspecting and reporting on the condition and performance of signalling assets to ensure ongoing safety and reliability. In this role, you'll directly contribute to our mission of providing world-class rail services by helping maintain the critical infrastructure that keeps our network running smoothly.
In this role you will:
- Must have a certificate IV Railway Signalling
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence or interstate equivalent that can be changed over prior to starting
- Must have capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
