Your opportunity

As a Trackworker, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity, safety and efficiency of our rail corridors. You'll be responsible for heavy manual labour activities, such as replacing railway sleepers and a variety of track maintenance works. 

This role is ideal for people who:

• Are based in North Bundaberg and can travel and work throughout regional Queensland.
• Experience in manual handling and physical labour is a plus, but the right attitude matters most.
• Hold a C class driver's licence and (insert required tickets).
• Are available for an on-call roster and can work weekends and public holidays.
• Have a strong commitment to safe working practices.
• Are comfortable working in various weather conditions, including hot temperatures.

About you:

• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Must have capacity to travel and work within Regional Queensland
• Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends
• Front-end loader, excavator, skid steer, truck licence, or other licences/ tickets are desirable.

This role offers: 

• Base Salary of $66,000 with earnings up to 85,000 + 12.75% super – including penalties
• 9-day fortnight - 0700 to 1600 (Mon-Fri one week, Mon-Thur following)
• Travel on paid work time including expenses & accommodation
• Paid training and ongoing support - including Cert II in Rail Infrastructure
• All PPE & tools supplied
