We are looking for highly motivated leader seeking to advance their career to manage the delivery of customer service onboard our long-distance train services. Customer service experience will be invaluable in mentoring an onboard team to ensure the highest standard of service is provided consistently and safely.

- Base salary of $80, 829 + 12.75% super. However, after including applicable allowances (travel, away from home, meals, first aid, weekend and public holiday work), a Passenger Services Supervisor can earn up to approximately $130, 000 + 12.75% super.

As an Onboard Customer Service Supervisor (Relief) you will:
- Fulfill a full-time relief role (38 hours per week) to provide shift coverage for scheduled and unscheduled leave, training etc.
- Have flexibility as you will be required to work early starts, late finishes, overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers and onboard team members.
- Create a memorable onboard customer experience.
- Ensure duties performed comply with legislative requirements, fatigue management and roster guidelines and Queensland Rail's values.
- Ensure adherence to onboard catering and financial procedures and processes.
- Supervise the acceptance, loading and delivery of customer baggage and catering supplies.
What do I need to be considered?
- Experience in leading and mentoring a small team.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to go the “extra mile”.
- An ability to manage conflict in an objective and professional manner.
- An ability to think on your feet and respond to the unexpected – you thrive under pressure.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound computer skills.
- Be safety focused and ensure that relevant policies, procedures and legislation is being adhered to and who thrives in high pressure situations.
- Ability to undertake occasional heavy lifting (up to 20kgs).
Candidates will also need to obtain the below certificates prior to employment.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Food Hygiene (SITXFSA001)
- Advanced Resuscitation
- Provide CPR 12 months
- Provide First Aid
- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
